His research interests include medical robots, continuum robots, soft robots, medical sensors, etc.

Abstract

Medical robotics have introduced a variety of benefits to assist the surgeons in achieving minimally invasive surgery. Continuum robotics is one of the most popular research topics. It can help go into natural orifices and reach the targets in confined anatomical space. In this lecture, I will introduce the background and challenges of medical robotics, which mainly focus on continuum robots and sensing.
